Brexit Panel: What’s Next? Implications for Law & Life

On June 23, 2016, the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union, triggering a process that will end the U.K.’s four-decade membership in the EU. The difficult negotiations to agree on the terms of departure have begun, with far-reaching effects for both the U.K. and EU, and also for Canada, which recently reached a major trade agreement with the EU and the U.K. Join us to talk about the Brexit negotiations, expected outcomes, and potential implications for Canada. The Brexit panel is co-sponsored by the Jean Monnet European Union Centre of Excellence.
