Programs at every level

Undergraduate program

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree program prepares students to become Registered Nurses (RNs) locally, nationally and abroad.  

Dalhousie’s School of Nursing baccalaureate degree offers students the opportunity to complete this degree in three calendar years as Direct Entry student or two calendar years as an Advanced Standing student. Contact the Registrar's Office for more details.

Students can earn their degree at our Halifax and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia locations. 

Residents of Nunavut can enroll in our BScN (Arctic Nursing) program, offered in collaboration with Nunavut Arctic College.

Graduate programs

Our graduate degree programs offer students the opportunity to further develop their skills and knowledge, while tailoring their academic experience according to career goals.

Dalhousie offers the following programs for graduate students:

  • Master of Nursing (MN) 
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MScN)
  • Master of Nursing/Master of Health Administration (MN/MHA) (Not Available at this Time)
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MScN)
  • Doctor of Nursing (PhD)
