At the Association of Black Social Workers’ 40th anniversary conference, Senator Wanda Thomas Bernard and four of her former students (from left to right Dr Marion Brown, Bria Symonds, Rajean Willis, and Sasan Issari) engaged in a critical reflection on their teaching and learning journeys in the fight for social justice with examples of how seeds planted in the classroom have blossomed in the field over the past four decades.
