Dalhousie scholarships are available on a limited basis to students in both the thesis and project tracks.
Students in the thesis track are eligible for University Killam scholarships (see Thesis Track), and small grants from the Research Developmental Fund of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
The Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) offers bursaries for students with financial needs. However, please note that it is FGS policy that first-year students do not receive bursaries. Students should enquire directly with FGS for further information.
Some students may also obtain part-time employment as a teaching assistants, or research assistants within the school.
Other sources of funding outside the university may be available to students.
Applicants are invited to consult the FGS website for more information on both internal and external sources of funding.
