Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 7:30pm and Saturday 8am to 3:30pm
Please note: Dal Physiotherapy Clinic follows Dalhousie University cancellation/closure procedures.
The Dalhousie main web page carries up-to-date storm cancellation/closure information as of 6:00 a.m. Check www.dal.ca for current cancellation/closure information. The University switchboard (902-494-2211) will carry a recorded message as well.
The clinic social media accounts as well as the Department of Athletics and Recreation social media accounts will be updated should there be a closure.
Location and Parking
The Dal Physiotherapy Clinic is located in the Dalplex, on Dalhousie University's Studley Campus. Upon entering the main doors, continue to the Dalplex customer service desk. The customer service representatives will direct you from there.
Dalhousie Physiotherapy Clinic has two designated parking spaces.
- ONLY clients with an appointment time are eligible to park in one of the two spots designated by signs for clinic use.
- When clients arrive at the Dalplex reception, they will be required to enter their licence plate information (or make and model of their car) in the sign-up book. This aids Dalplex and security staff in confirming client vehicles.
- Dalplex reception will provide a parking pass that is to be placed on the car dash.
- Please return the pass to the reception when finished with your appointment. (Front desk may ask for a piece of ID, to ensure the return of the parking passes for others use.)
Initial Assessment: $90.00
Follow-up Treatment: $75.00
Student Initial Assessment: $80.00
Student Follow-up Treatment: $65.00
Direct Billing is currently available with Medavie Blue Cross, as well as most other insurance companies through Telus e-health (Manulife, SunLife, Great West Life, Desjardins and Chambers of Commerce).
Payment accepted by Interac (Debit), Visa and Mastercard only. Cash or cheques not accepted.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
Please note the clinic has a 12 hour cancellation policy. Any missed or appointments cancelled within 12 hours of the clinic visit, will be charged 50% of the cost of the appointment. Our full cancellation policy can be found here.
If you have experienced extenuating circumstances preventing required notice to cancel an appointment, please outline your reasons here.
If this is your first time attending the clinic, we have 3 forms you will complete at your first appointment. If you prefer, you can download the forms below and complete them electronically, or print them, fill in by hand and bring them with you to your appointment.
Electronic completed forms: Please save with your name (Last name, First name) at the beginning of the file name, then e-mail to 'firstname.lastname@example.org' with your name in the subject line.
