PhD in Health
Funding of up to $40,000 over two years
Applications are invited for a two year funding package, with funding of up to $40,000, from highly qualified individuals in the new PhD in Health program at Dalhousie University. If you have an interest in studying aging; chronic condition management; health and outcomes measurement; or diversity, inclusion, health disparity and inequalities, this could be your opportunity to work with leading scholars in occupational science and occupational therapy at Dalhousie University School of occupational therapy.
To be considered for this funding package, qualified applicants must:
• Have completed a Master’s degree. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate research experience.
• Have identified a faculty member in the School of Occupational Therapy who has agreed to:
a) Supervise or co-supervise the student in the doctoral program and
b) Write a letter in support of the application for the scholarship.
• Submit a one-page Letter of Intent describing the research area to be pursued in the PhD program.
• Submit transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
