Course Schedule/Fees

All four disability management courses are typically offered in the fall, winter, and spring intercession semesters, provided there are sufficient enrollment numbers. Please note however that, DISM 3010 Introduction to Disability and Disability Management is the pre-requisite for the remaining three courses. Once you have completed the Introductory course, you can take the courses one at a time, or multiple courses can be taken each semester, so you can complete the certificate in as little as eight months.

You may begin the Program during the Fall or Winter terms, or the Spring intercession, provided DISM3010 (KINE3010) is taken first.  It is possible to complete the Program in as little as eight months.  The following charts show examples of sequences for taking the courses, either taking one course per semester, or multiple courses during one semester:

*The Spring Intercession is a condensed semester with increased weekly workloads. Students should review their other time commitments before registering for more than one course during the Spring Intercession.

Fee information

Disability Management tuition is $1000 per course (plus textbook). University application fees and deadlines are posted by the Dalhousie Registrar’s Office. Student fee information and tuition due dates are available through Money Matters.
