Tanzania Summer Program
Facilitated by Dalhousie's Global Health Office, the Summer Program in Tanzania is an inter-professional program open to up to four Dalhousie students from Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Nursing. Students are placed in Dar es salaam with our Tanzanian partners at Pastoral Acitivites and Services for People with AIDS (PASADA).
Students learn about health problems, health systems, and the roles of various health professions in Tanzania. The summer program offers a first-hand opportunity to learn about global health challenges being faced by those living in Tanzania.
The aim of the program is to be an entry point for students eager to engage with global health issues in under-resourced communities.
