Gambia Summer Program

The Dalhousie University Global Health Office partners with the Nova Scotia-Gambia Association (NSGA) to offer summer volunteer opportunities and self-sponsored internships for Dal students in The Gambia.

Participants in the program will be focused on the delivery of Peer Health/Public Health Outreach programs. Students will develop and conduct information and training sessions in human sexuality and reproductive health, including HIV/AIDS and STIs, for NSGA trainers and drama troupe members; assist in the development and/or delivery of health components of the Peer Health Education program in schools and communities in The Gambia.
