Dr. Ingrid Waldron will be participating in a town hall event in Halifax with other community members on the legacy of anti-black racism and how it affects property rights and environmental decisions. It is the first of three public forums in Canada. There will also be public forums in Montreal and Vancouver.
The event is being organized by CBC Radio's The Current.
It takes place Friday, February 16 at 7 pm at the Halifax Central Library (Paul O'Regan Hall). Doors open at 6:30 pm.
It is scheduled to be broadcast on The Current on CBC Radio One, on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
