The School of Health Administration Alumni Association's inaugural Mentorship Program got underway this past year. The program aimed to connect MHA students with Health Leaders involved in all aspects of healthcare across Canada. These interactions created an environment for students to ask questions, and for mentors to share their experiences working in the profession. It served as a platform for open and honest discussion about the challenges and rewards of healthcare leadership with the ultimate goal of providing meaningful mentorship and development opportunities for students. A luncheon was hosted earlier this spring to celebrate the success of the pilot program with alumni mentors from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in attendance.
