Scholarship competitions for students currently in-program within a doctoral degree have varied eligibility criteria and competition deadlines. Tri-Council Canada Graduate Scholarships – Doctoral Program (CGS-D) competitions typically occur over the fall semester with internal department-level deadlines and rankings. Please note that the majority of additional scholarships are awarded through a Harmonized Scholarship Process. Students who participate in the CGS-D competition within a given academic year are strongly encouraged to submit a Short Form Application to the Harmonized Scholarship Process to ensure they are considered for a range of scholarships for which they may be eligible.
