GSIS Manual for Faculty/Staff
The Graduate Studies Information System (GSIS) is a component of Dal Online that is used by the Faculty of Graduate Studies to manage admission, program, thesis, and convocation information for graduate students.
Admissions Screen Update (August 2017):
Designated staff and faculty can click the Admissions tab in GSIS and view their students’ admission information. FGS Admissions Officers enter the student’s Admissions GPA, any special notes about the student’s admission, and specific ESL and Transcript Information.
Based on Graduate Department requests there is a new box on the Admissions Screen for Department Notes. At this time Departments are not able to enter information in the box. Individual permissions for staff and faculty will be assigned in the fall term and staff and faculty will be notified when these permissions are complete.
