ASSESSMENT OF CLINICAL SKILLS (ACS) EXAM

Thursday, May 30, 2019

1:00-4:00 pm (pre-registration required)

Orientation includes a tour of the building, a demonstration of the clinic equipment and handpieces, and an opportunity to prep 3 teeth practise a rubber dam application. You will also have an opportunity to ensure compatibility with your handpiece.

Limited spaces are available. Registration is on a first-come basis. Please wear appropriate clinic attire to the orientation.

Deadline for handpiece rental is Friday, May 31, 2019, 12:00 pm AST.

All other equipment and consumable supplies needed for the examination are the responsibility of the candidate.

 

Handpieces rental fee:
(paid by credit card; non-
refundable)                         

$200.00/day ($400.00 for the two-day exam) for each set of one high and low-speed handpiece.  

No security deposit is required, however, you will be charged the full replacement cost for lost or damaged handpieces.

 

NOTE: You do not have access to the clinical facilities at Dalhousie University except during the scheduled orientations (Thursday, May 30, 2019) and the exam (Saturday, June 1, 2018 and Sunday, June 2, 2018).
