Cooperative (co-op) education programs provide students with an opportunity to apply classroom learning in a professional work palce setting. Students alternate semesters of academic study with semesters of full-time, paid employment. 

Placement opportunities not only extend beyond the limits of Halifax, but also beyond the information and communications technology sector. You can take your technical know-how and apply it to a wide variety of industry sectors including financial services, clean technology, and defence, security and aerospace.

Past employers of Computer Science and Applied Computer Science students include Microsoft, IBM Canada, J.D. Irving Limited, T4G and Cisco Systems.

Bachelor of Computer Science

Computer Science students apply to the optional co-op program by their second year of study and must be in good academic standing. Read more.
