Building on the plans created in the Initiating and Planning course, this course covers the PMBoK v6® Guide project execution, project monitoring and controlling and project closing processes. Focusing on the processes, methods, tools and techniques project managers use to guide their projects towards a successful conclusion, you learn how to: control the flow of project work, track project progress, report project status, manage changes to project scope, administer the project's quality management system and handle problems that might arise along the way.
Note: This course introduces the use of MS Project as a tool for tracking progress and will be integrated into all assignments.
Books for the Project Management Online courses are not included in the tuition fees. Students are responsible for purchasing their own books from either online book sellers, local book stores or online publishers. Books are mandatory and others are recommended in order to complete online assignments and readings.
