Managing Police Performance: Coaching Skills for Police Supervisors

All of the courses in the Police Leadership Program are run online with the recent exception of Managing Police Performance: Coaching Skills for Police Supervisors which began with a 3-day on-site workshop that was offered in various locations across the country.

We are in the process of examining how we can effectively deliver this course online to be able to reach a larger number of students from across the country. Stay tuned on this exciting new development. We are still responsive to organizations who may wish to bring us in to deliver this in a workshop format to their members. Please contact the Program Director at police@dal.ca for more information.

Managing Police Performance: Coaching Skills for Police Supervisors is a required course for students pursuing a Certificate in Police Leadership with a concentration in Supervisory Skills. Otherwise, it is an elective in meeting the entry requirements for the Advanced Police Leadership course. Students are also welcome to take it as a stand-alone course without committing to the certificate program. It is a great professional development opportunity for current supervisors and those looking to move into supervisory positions.
