The 6th annual student conference will bring together third-year Economics students from the joint 2+2 programs with Chinese universities and students from the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences to share their perspectives on the role of Economics and Science in social and economic issues the world is facing today. Students’ presentations are based on the coursework from ENSL0005, Academic Writing and Research Skills — a course specifically for international students to help develop their skills and abilities in academic writing and presentation. Attending this conference can specifically be useful for aspiring presenters and writers. In addition, volunteering as facilitators for the event can help students hone their co-curricular skills in public speaking.
