Being agile may not be something you equate with communication, but you should.  Every aspect of today’s workforce is constantly changing. So, to be on top of your game, you must be on top of the latest trends and technological tools in order to be an effective communicator and leader.

Technology is constantly advancing and plays a vital role in how we communicate with each other. Because of this, we are losing our ability to simply talk to each other when needed.

Most millennials now live in the “gig economy.” This means that our workplaces basically have “revolving doors,” as our co-workers constantly change. And with that change comes having to adapt to how they communicate. With increasing diversity, we must also be able to communicate with those from other cultures and generations.

With these constant changes taking place, we must never accept the status quo. You must be aware of your values, judgements and how you respond to certain situations. This certificate program examines all of these factors and how you can keep up in our constantly changing workplaces. You can choose which aspects are best suited for your future needs.

Engaging the Superpowers within Each Generation
For the first time in history, four distinct groups with different life experiences, perspectives, and values must work together (Boomers, Millennials, Generation X and Generation Z). This course will give you an in-depth understanding of each generation, their perspectives, how they do things and where you fit into the equation.

Persuasive Writing
To write persuasively is to move readers to action. That requires a strategic approach, particularly when you’re creating complex documents, such as formal proposals. Focusing on reports and proposals, this course will give you practical strategies that will enable you to use writing to make action happen.

Grammar Tune-Up 
Worries about making “grammar mistakes” can slow down your writing process and cramp your personal writing style. This course will enable you to gain control over grammar and punctuation so you can be confident that you’re expressing yourself correctly and clearly.

Grabbing the Spotlight: Communicating about Yourself
The need to be more agile in our communications is increasing exponentially, especially with the advent of the COVID-19 virus. It has had tremendous impact on our working environment, but also social media, the gig economy, the improvement and integration of “Smart” technology, and the increasing options in hiring practices such as the use of recruiters and online hiring platforms. This course will help you present yourself as a valuable and effective person worthy of hiring, retention and/or advancement in an organization, which is an absolute necessity in today’s job environment.

Personal Leadership: Leading the Self During Challenging Times
One of the biggest challenges current and future leaders face is to be able to "lead themselves" before going out and attempting to lead others. Being grounded and as clear as possible on your own values, preferences, ways of working and communicating with others and ways of doing things, especially in times of stress and pressure, is a vital first step to becoming an effective leader. This online course offers participants a chance to assess how they respond to ambiguous situations, decision points and conflict.

Virtual Presentations for the New Normal
Welcome to the new normal of presenting - virtual presentations!  Zoom, Teams, WebEx, Collaborate, Jira, and other online communication tools are here to stay. Being able to communicate effectively in the online environment has become an essential skill almost overnight. You may already be comfortable presenting in person, but the online environment is different. This course will help be a skilled, confident online presenter.

Increase Your Personal Impact using Persuasion and Influence
This evidence-based course will demonstrate how persuasion and influence really work. Learn simple techniques to increase your personal impact and change your world for the better, both ethically and subtly.

Digital Literacy and Acumen
In this course, you will learn how to analyze and use data to strengthen your organization. You will gain an understanding of elements of the enterprise IT landscape and learn what the megatrends are that drive change, such as processing power and connectivity.
