An important exhibition, curated by Dr Afua Cooper, formerly a professor in SOSA and now a professor at the University of Toronto, is on display at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. A History Exposed: The Enslavement of Black People in Canada tells this long-neglected history through individual biographies and archival records. The exhibition is up until January 5, 2025, when it will move to the Black Cultural Centre in Dartmouth.
