The Canadian Association of African Studies is pleased to announce that Katie Carline's paper 'Mothers on the Move: Manyanos and the Social History of Transportation a South African Homeland Township, 1963-1990' has won this year’s Fraser Taylor Award. The award cash prize ($500) will be presented to Katie at the 2022 conference, where the winner will be formally recognized.
Thanks to the Award Committee for the adjudication process. We congratulate Katie for her achievement.
