Study abroad program
The Department of French proposes an exciting winter semester of study abroad in Dijon, France. Eligible students may also choose to study abroad for the full year. This program is open to all students.
Capital of the former province of Burgundy, Dijon is steeped in history and tradition. Dijon's Musée des Beaux Arts is outstanding and 2nd only to the Louvre in France.
Located in the heart of historic Burgundy, just 90 minutes from Paris by train, the CIEF (Centre International d'Études Françaises) of the Université de Bourgogne, offers an exciting language program for students at all levels of proficiency in French.
In addition to core language classes, the CIEF offers classes in French literature, phonetics, civilization, history, art history, music, economics, philosophy, and political science.
