Elder Dr. Albert Marshall has been an advocate for the idea of "Etuaptmumk": Two-eyed Seeing, a concept which he developed and articulated to express the gift of multiple cultural perspectives. He is involved in all aspects of advocacy for Mi’kmaq culture and our shared environment.

Richard Kroeker is a UK-registered architect and a Professor Emeritus at Dalhousie University. His work explores how architecture can be a catalyst for empowering local communities and cultures under threat.
