“I was so proud of how the campus community came together to support the friends of a student who had passed. It was kind of a symbol of what happens here, like when the fire happened, everyone jumps in. When we have open house, everyone jumps in and helps, from the folks in the cafeteria to all the way up in the Dean’s office. That’s the kind of community we have, there’s no specific silos of ‘this is my job and all that I do’. There’s always that willingness to jump in and get involved and to really be part of the community. “
