Spring Convocation 2026 will soon be here  - June 5th 

If you plan to join the Academic Procession or are a marshal, please reserve a set of academic dress by May 2. If you have already reserved, we thank you for your attention. Your presence means a great deal to the graduates and enhances this important milestone.

To reserve, please send an email to our vendor at info@bspokeapparel.com directly from your @dal.ca email address. You will receive an email to set you up at the online reservation portal. Please use the discount code "Faculty26" at checkout. Dalhousie faculty and staff do not need to pay rental fees.

Please come to the Convocation Hub one business day before the ceremony you are going to attend. Please refer to our website for locations and opening hours. https://www.dal.ca/convocation/graduate_information.html

Please present the QR code located at the bottom of your confirmation email at both pickup and drop-off. If someone is collecting or returning on your behalf, they must present your QR code.

Please return your academic dress to the Convocation Hub before it closes. If you cannot return it by the closure, please bring your academic dress directly to our vendor at 110 Chain Lake Dr #3F, Halifax, NS, B3S 1A9 (business hours: Mon – Fri, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.).

Unfortunately, the Registrar's Office does not accept returns of academic dress.
