Join a farmer-to-farmer forum to discuss social housing for milk-fed dairy calves!
University of Prince Edward Island Atlantic Veterinary college researchers Katie Koralesky, Shawn McKenna, and Caroline Ritter are collaborating with dairy farmers to hold farmer-to-farmer forums on adopting social housing for dairy calves. Join us to hear from farmers who are using social or pair housing, ask questions, and discuss!
Three forums are scheduled:
1.Prince Edward Island
Monday, March 23: Charlottetown, PE, at the PEI Farm Centre. 420 University Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A 2Y9. Registration starts at 9:30, forum (including lunch) runs from 10:00-13:00.
2. Nova Scotia
Thursday, March 26: Truro, NS, at Dalhousie University Riverview Room. Jenkins Hall, 40 Horseshoe Crescent, Truro, NS B2N 5E3. Registration starts at 9:30, forum (including lunch) runs from 10:00-13:00.
3. New Brunswick
Tuesday, March 31: Petitcodiac, NB, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 41. 8 Kay St, Petitcodiac, NB E4Z 4N4. Registration starts at 9:30, forum (including lunch) runs from 10:00-13:00.
All are welcome, participation is free, and we will provide coffee, snacks, and lunch.
