Dal AC International invites you to join us on Thursday November 7, for a public presentation and discussion on “Honouring Indigenous Knowledge: Community Food Systems in the Philippines”.
Dr. Kathleen Kevany and the Leadership and Social Change Class (EXTE 3001) are happy to receive Dr. Marlowe Aquino from Mariano Marcos State University in Batac, Ilocos Norte to share his research and thoughts on Indigenous Food Systems.
Dr. Kevany and the class are working in collaboration with students and faculty in the Philippines to examine social change opportunities to increase food security and increase interest in youth in agriculture and food related careers.
We welcome Dr. Aquino's remarks and the opportunity to share knowledge and look forward to seeing you from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM in Room 218 at the Learning Commons of Macrae Library (135 College Road).
