A Mooncake Celebration for students from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU) was held last month on campus supported by the Dal AC Global Education fund.
Students turned Cox Kitchen into a hub of Chinese cuisine, making dumplings and steamed buns, as well as enjoying traditional mooncakes. The event offered a relaxed environment where students connected with their peers and faculty members.
The Mid-Autumn Festival, which traditionally celebrates with family reunions and togetherness, is one of the most important cultural holidays in China.
For many FAFU students, this was their first time marking the occasion far from home. The event provided them with a small taste of familiar traditions while helping to ease homesickness.
