The Faculty of Agriculture’s Extended Learning unit is seeking a Master Gardener (Alberta) Facilitator.
The Master Gardener independent non-credit study courses are delivered fully online and cater to participants who have a passion for gardening, wanting to expand their knowledge in the horticulture field, or wanting to become a certified Master Gardener.
Reporting to the Program Manager, Extended Learning, the Master Gardener Facilitator will complete three overlapping non-credit course intakes, delivering four courses over a six-month period per intake.
This position will work remotely and have own computer and access to an internet connection conducive to teaching an online course.
Undergraduate degree in related field (plant science or horticulture preferred) with approximately two years’ relevant experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience) is required.
This is a casual position from August 2022 to July 2023.
