Educational Technology and Design (Linda Jack and Sondra Mantle) will continue to support your remote teaching efforts as we navigate the remainder of the semester and throughout the Spring/Summer semester. We are both working from home, of course, so your requests for help will have to come to us via email (see below for email addresses).
Prior to reaching out for help, please peruse the vast collection of resources that have been created for Dalhousie University:
- Centre for Learning & Teaching’s Temporary Remote Teaching website https://www.dal.ca/dept/elearning.html
- Educational Technology & Design Blog https://edtechtruro.edublogs.org/
- Dal’s Virtual Brightspace Drop-Ins: https://ca.bbcollab.com/collab/ui/session/guest/fc14f311a91f4a2091572388a4d281e7
- Online Community – Faculty of Agriculture Instructor Resources: https://dal.brightspace.com/d2l/home/9378
When you send an email request, please be sure to include in your email message the full name and number of your course (i.e. Landscape Plants 1 HORT1000), your name and contact information, and a brief explanation of your support needs. If your request requires a phone call, include your phone number and perhaps the best time to reach you. We will try to accommodate the time but please be patient if we are unable to reach you at the proposed time.
We have been and will continue to do our best to accommodate all requests for help in this trying time.
