PD session on Multiple Choice questions – Design and Use
Taking advantage of the strengths of multiple choice test questions (versatility, reliability and validity) requires construction of good multiple choice questions. Join us to explore best practices for constructing a ‘good’ multiple choice question.
This 3-hour session will consist of 2 parts and will include interactive components.
Part 1 – what makes a good multiple choice question and how to test higher thinking (analysis, evaluation) with multiple choice-based scenarios.
Part 2 – using the Quiz tool in Brightspace to do multiple choice questions and give feedback.
Coffee and muffins provided at break time.
