Cooke Aquaculture Presentation
We are excited to return to Dalhousie’s Agricultural Campus in Truro again this year to
meet with students from the Aquaculture Program.
We have had great success with students from previous years joining the Cooke
Aquaculture team. From last year’s program, we had students who worked for the
summer with us at Nova Scotia locations. We also have graduates who have stayed on
with us full time. They have taken on a variety of roles including saltwater technician,
crew on our maintenance vessels and one graduate who is working on an exciting sea lice
management project – a barge equipped with technology and systems developed
through our in-house engineering. Graduates in previous years are also working on our
farm sites and some are working in our remote feed project.
We are looking forward to sharing with you who Cooke Aquaculture is and meeting with
students who are interested in joining Cooke Aquaculture for summer employment or
full-time employment in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick.
We will be showing a brief
presentation to introduce you to Cooke Aquaculture/ Kelly Cove Salmon that tells you
who we are and how we raise our salmon. We will also take some time to chat with
students and answer questions.
On Tuesday, November 28, from 9am-2pm, we will interview any students who are
interested in employment with Cooke Aquaculture for the summer or full-time.
Please contact Scott Jeffrey, Senior Instructor, Department of Animal Science and
Aquaculture at firstname.lastname@example.org or 902.893.3467 if you would like to submit your
resume and schedule an interview
