Kick-off Event

Date: Friday, October 28th
Time: 11:00-11:30 a.m.
Location: Haley Foyer

To kick off this year’s event, we will be hosting an in-person event in Haley Institute! Hear from Dean Gray and Sam Madore from the United Way of Colchester about how you can participate and make an impact in your community. Still wondering about the cookies? Sign up for a cookie to be delivered right to someone’s office door. You can send a kudos along with your cookie to a colleague who is doing a fantastic job working! Submit your kudos by emailing Kamryn.findlay@dal.ca.

A Cake Silent Auction will start during the kick-off event in Haley Room 106. Join the kick-off event to start your cake bids early! Bidding will be open in-person from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Have questions about the Cake Silent Auction? Contact Marilyn.roberts@dal.ca.

The Great Potato Roll

Date: Wednesday, November 9th

Time: 12:00-12:30 p.m.

Location: Hill between Banting Building and Cox Institute

Don’t forget to purchase your potato for the Great Potato Roll here! All students, staff, and faculty are invited to participate. Join us for a fun competition between the Faculty of Agriculture and the Department of Agriculture! For just $2 your name is attached to a potato racer which will "compete" in a downhill event. The person whose potato crosses the finish line first will take home half the pot of money. Donate to secure your potato racer and be entered in the Faculty of Agriculture staple.
