Fire Safety Plans

The objective of Dalhousie's Fire Safety Plans is to help reduce the risk of injury and property damage due to fire, smoke and other emergency situations at Dalhousie University buildings. This is achieved through policies and procedures consistent with the requirements set forth in the National Fire Code of Canada, and the Nova Scotia Fire Safety Act and Regulations.

For each of its buildings, the University has a general Fire Safety Plan [PDF - 393 KB], coupled with an Emergency Response Booklet that contains the building specific information.
