Fire Extinguisher Training

There are no requirements under provincial legislation for people to be trained in fire extinguishers. However, best practice dictates that certain staff should be trained in the proper use of a fire extinguisher. Such groups would be, facilities trade staff, fire wardens and security staff. Any students, staff or faculty working in laboratories would also be ideal candidates for the training.
