The France-Canada Research Fund New Research Collaboration Program (FCRF) funds new collaborations between French and Canadian teams in all fields of research. This program is meant to initiate new partnerships in research between France and Canada and promote interdisciplinary collaborations and training of young researchers.
Funding
Grants are awarded to two-year projects in amounts varying from $8,000 to $15,000 CAD.
90% of the allocated funds are aimed at supporting researchers and student mobility between the two countries.
Eligibility
Tenure or tenure-track faculty members in any field of research. The FCRF endorses new research collaboration between PIs who have never obtained a joint funding prior this application.
The research team must include graduate students or post-doctoral fellows.
All research institutions in France are eligible as partners.
How to apply
Dalhousie is limited to submitting 5 applications to this competition. Expressions of interest are therefore required and must be submitted to ors.int@dal.ca by October 11, 2024.
Please send a one-paragraph summary of your project along with a list of research team members.
Applications are submitted by the Office of Research Services.
