Have you ever wondered about using maps for your teaching or research? Do you need the digital skills to work with geospatial data or analyze and create maps?
You are cordially invited to attend a four-day GIS (Geographic Information System) for Humanities workshop, April 17-20, 2023, which will take place at St Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. The instructors will be Jennifer Grek-Martin (Dalhousie University) and Jennifer Strang (Dalhousie University). Masks are encouraged. Faculty, staff, students, and all interested are welcome.
Early registration deadline is February 15. Registration is now open.
DHSI-East is part of the international DH Training Network and takes its name from DHSI, the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (University of Victoria).
This event is hosted by the StFX Digital Humanities Centre.
