Academics Without Borders is currently seeking volunteers to assist in the design and delivery of a training program for mentors of early career researchers in Ugandan universities.
There is a recognized need for mentorship for early career researchers in research skills development and academic writing. The goal of this project is to develop a workshop to prepare more senior Ugandan faculty who will serve as mentors for their junior colleagues.
Applicants should have a PhD with a significant publication record in their field and experience in graduate student supervision. Applicants with experience in mentoring early career researchers are especially encouraged to apply.
