Mitacs has partnered with the Araucaria Foundation in Brazil to offer internships for students and postdocs to travel between Brazil and Canada.

• Intern level: Full-time senior undergraduates, master’s and PhD students, or postdoctoral fellows
• Travel direction: to Canada from Brazil, and to Brazil from Canada
• Themes: All disciplines, but focus on agricultural technology and clean tech
• Eligible institutions: Contact Dalhousie’s Mitacs representative to confirm eligibility
• Award amount: $6,000
• Duration: 12-24 weeks
• Note: projects may include up to 5 interns. No co-funding is required for these awards.
