This Wallonia-Brussels International (WBI) and Mitacs program supports research stays (from 12 to 24 weeks) carried out in a partner university in Canada. Ten researchers from Canadian universities wishing to travel to the Wallonia-Brussels Federation will also benefit from this opportunity. The program is open to all academic disciplines.

Participants must be from the French Community of Belgium (Wallonia-Brussels Federation). Eligible institutions: Université catholique de Louvain, Université libre de Bruxelles, Université de Liège, Université de Mons, Université de Namur, Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles.

No financial contribution is required from the Canadian university. The award amount is $6,000.

Applicants successfully selected by WBI must then complete Mitacs’s GRA application documents as instructed by WBI and submit it to them. WBI provides the application package to the interns.
