The United States Department of Defense is offering five competitions through their ovarian cancer research program.
Clinical Translational Research Award:
- Supports translational research addressing high impact or unmet needs in ovarian cancer
- Valued at up to $450,000 USD over three years.
Investigator-Initiated Research Award:
- Supports meritorious basic and clinically oriented research in ovarian cancer
- Valued at up to $800,000 USD over four years.
Ovarian Cancer Academy Award – Early Career Investigator:
- Supports the addition of new Early-Career Investigators to the unique, interactive virtual academy providing intensive mentoring, national networking, and a peer group for junior faculty
- Valued at up to $725,000 USD over four years.
Pilot Award:
- Supports innovative, high-risk/high-reward research that could ultimately lead to critical discoveries or major advancements in the field of ovarian cancer research
- Valued at up to $250,000 over two years.
Proteogenomics Research Award:
- Supports the genomic and/or transcriptomic and/or proteomic analysis of currently available clinical specimens
- Valued at up to $250,000 over two years.
