Message from Science Odyssey, forwarded by Graham Gagnon, Associate Vice President Research and NSERC Leader for Dalhousie

Dear all,

This is a follow up to the NSERC President’s call to keep science in the spotlight in 2021.

Are you interested in being part of this effort by holding an engaging and inspiring public activity during the NSERC-led Science Odyssey? The SciOd.ca website is now live, and we invite you to register your events and activities.

How do I register my event?

Simply go to the partner hub and sign up to create a profile, and then add your event(s) to the Science Odyssey list.

Creating a profile as a Science Odyssey partner will allow you to easily manage your event and make updates to your profile as required.

You will be notified via email once your event has been approved and posted live on the Science Odyssey website

If you wish to explore partnering with a science promotion organization, as suggested in our previous message, we encourage you to contact our marquee events Science Rendezvous, or if in Quebec, 24 Heures de science. They are ideally positioned to help you engage youth with your outreach activities.

How do I promote my event?

Within the event approved email, you’ll receive a link to Science Odyssey branded visuals and other promotional materials, as well as a personalized link to your event that you can share on your social media.

Follow us!

Science Odyssey will once again make heavy use of its social media accounts during the campaign. Be sure to follow us on FacebookInstagram and Twitter!

Please use the hashtag #OdySci on all your Science Odyssey related content, so we can follow and share your posts.

If you have questions, please contact scienceodyssey@nserc-crsng.gc.ca.
