Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Transnational call

The CIHR Institute of Population and Public Health is partnering with more than 20 international funding organizations to offer this joint call.

The aim of this call is to support international collaboration between researchers. Applicants must form consortiums made up of no more than six researchers. Participation of researchers from low- and middle-income countries is encouraged.

Projects should either:

Understand the impact of interventions on the development and transmission of antibiotic resistance in, and/or between, at least two One Health settings;

OR

Design, implement, evaluate, and/or compare innovative interventions to control the development and transmission of antibiotic resistance in, and/or between, at least two One Health settings.

The maximum funds available are $600,000 over 3 years for the Canadian portion of a consortium led by a Canadian researcher or $500,000 over 3 years for the Canadian portion of a consortium led by another country.
