The Association of Commonwealth Universities is currently accepting applications for Medical Student Virtual Mobility Grants, which provide up to GBP 5000. These grants aim to increase students’ knowledge of global health, and provide funding for medical schools to deliver virtual mobility projects in partnership with medical schools at ACU member universities in other countries.

Projects within the scope of the grants can include:

• Students from the two partner institutions collaborating on an assessed project
• A virtual event such as an online summer school

The projects must involve students from two institutions in different countries, must involve online interaction, and should allow students to develop their intercultural skills and knowledge. The project must be delivered before the end of 2021. Applications will only be accepted from staff of medical schools. Students are not eligible to apply directly.

The value of the grant will be split between the two collaborating institutions.
