The Offices of the Vice-President Research & Innovation and the Provost & Vice-President Academic are pleased to announce the 2019 call for applications for the Dalhousie Belong Research Fellowship Awards for pre-tenure, tenure-track faculty members from equity-seeking groups. 

There is a single application and review process for these fellowships. Top-ranked candidates will be awarded up to $5,000 over a two-year period. These fellowships aim to provide awarded candidates with support towards their further development as researchers. Up to four fellowships will be awarded this year.

Applicants will require a letter of support from their department Head, Chair, Director or other senior academic, an endorsement letter from their Dean, an up-to-date CV, and a research plan with a budget detailing how the funds will be expended.

Awards will be adjudicated by a committee organized by the Dalhousie Belong Research Fellowship Committee.
