The Expert Group on the Potential Canadian Healthcare and Biomedical Roles for Deep-Space Human Spaceflight was established in 2017 to help the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) engage with the broader Canadian biomedical, health and performance communities.
Through consultations with members from diverse domains, the Expert Group has now published their recommendations in the report, “Canadian Healthcare in Deep Space”. The report highlights how leveraging Canadian healthcare expertise would allow Canada to take on a leadership role in autonomous healthcare for deep space human spaceflight.
