New Grant-Paid Payroll Form
As was communicated to you last summer, the payroll process for Grant-Paid employees was reviewed as part of the university’s Strategic Priority 5.7 - to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative and operational processes aligned with our academic mission.
At that time, as part of phase one of the payroll process improvement project, the process was streamlined so that all Payroll forms for Grant-Paid employees are forwarded directly to the Payroll department instead of Financial Services.
The second phase of this project is the introduction of a Grant-Paid Payroll Form. This form will make the process more efficient, reduce errors and the need for original paper copies, as the scanned form will be the version of record. This form will replace both the Grant-Paid Employee Payroll Profile Form and the Grant-Paid Change Form.
The new Grant-Paid Payroll Form, along with two instructional videos (New Employees and Existing Employees) are now available on the HR site of myDal under Pay and Hiring & Managing /Grant-Paid Employees.
All forms and required attachments, including employment contracts, should be scanned and emailed to payforms@dal.ca.
