The Government of Canada is adopting a “made-in-Canada” Athena SWAN (Scientific Women's Academic Network) program, as part of its commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in research. The program is based on the UK Athena SWAN, first launched in 2005. More information is available on NSERC's website here.
NSERC invites you to participate in an information briefing. In these sessions, NSERC will provide a brief presentation about the program, and answer any questions. You are also encouraged to submit your ideas for a “made-in-Canada” Athena SWAN initiative here.
