The Establishment Grant assists in building research capacity and provides initial support for new health researchers in Nova Scotia by funding investigator /curiosity driven research across NSHRF’s four health research categories.

To be eligible, applicants must be a new doctoral graduate, a health researcher that has recently moved to Nova Scotia, or a researcher new to the field of health research. A maximum of $50,000 / year per grant will be issued for a period of up to 3 years (maximum value of $150,000). Please consult the program website for more information. 

Applicants may submit more than one application for consideration, however, only one application per applicant may be funded per competition.

The internal deadline is March 08, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.(AST). The funder's deadline is March 22,2018 at 2:00 p.m. (AST).
