Posted by Suman Jha on September 25, 2017 in Research Funding

The Government of Mexico, through Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has opened the 2018/19 competition for scholarships to Canadian researchers and students.

The scholarships are aimed at Canadians wishing to study or conduct research for varying periods, at the Undergraduate, Graduate or Postdoctoral level (or for medical specialization and sub-specialization), at participating postsecondary institutions in Mexico.

The scholarships include airfare, approved tuition and compulsory fees (if applicable), health insurance and a monthly living allowance. Applicants who do not meet Spanish language requirements may also be eligible for up to six months (or half the period of the scholarship) of Spanish language training.

Please visit the website for full program details, and to submit an online application.

Any researcher intending to apply is asked to notify the International Research Facilitator in Dalhousie Research Services (jennifer.morawiecki@dal.ca).

Deadline: 27 October 2017
